Filming at Memusi

At the end of November Matthew travelled to Memusi with TV production company ‘Two Four’ along with two pupils and a teacher from Firth Park Academy, Sheffield. This was part of filming series 3 of “Our School” in which year 7 of Firth Park are the focus of. 

We can’t reveal too much about the filming content so hopefully it will be a wonderful surprise for everyone when it is aired. We will keep you posted when the series starts as you will see Matthew in some of the other episodes other than the one when the two pupils travel to Kenya. The week was topped off when filming the final scene as on of the pupils Olivia said "MEMUSI is full of colour and happiness...it is the best school I have ever been to". 

Some of you will probably see some familiar faces on screen including  Memusi pupils, teachers and members of the community. We are so proud and honoured to have lead this trip and we hope you will be proud too to see Memusi in all it’s glory!!

‘Our School’ will be aired in September 2017 on CBBC.
